Last Saturday night, the Factory Art Studios in Sullivan was the place to be for the opening night of “Scandalous Vandals”, a new group exhibit featuring 40+ artists with an edge.
The night kicked-off with a Runway Fashion Show: ReFashion ReVolution, curated and hosted by Darby Harden of Underground Vintage, while the crowd enjoyed delicious Italian Beef and other noshables courtesy of the Factory community, and drinks provided by Tippy’s Restaurant. Live painting and live music were also on order, with Factory Artists Zac Atkinson and Karl Jendry showing off their skills, while the rock and reggae sounds of “Floweezy” filled the night with tunes.
Presented by Beery Method, Co-hosted by Coalesce Studios and Yellow Dog Studio, and curated by Burn 353, and Shani Goss. The exhibit contains over 110 new pieces of art from local, national, and international artists. From propaganda themes and social commentary, to masters of street art – the work in this show is not to be missed!
The Scandalous Vandals exhibit will be on display through the month of November at the Factory Art Studios in Sullivan, IL.
